How to Get a Google Cloud Exam Voucher at a Discounted Price

Among all the certifications offered right now in the IT sector, and the ones that have the highest demand by employers are Google Cloud Certifications. Preparing for Google Cloud Certification (for example: Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect) would normally require you to pay high to take an exam. Therefore, if you are an IT professional planning to take several Google Cloud Certification exams or a college student who has a limited amount of money, this could be an expensive investment.

However, there is good news! You can get discounted Google Cloud exam vouchers legitimately and reliably! By following the directions in this blog, you'll learn where to find a discounted Google Cloud exam voucher and how to redeem your discounted exam voucher without any issues.

Why Exam Vouchers Matter

To understand how to obtain a Google Cloud Exam voucher, one must first know what it is. A Google Cloud Exam voucher is simply a prepaid code that can be redeemed during the registration process for a Google Cloud Certification on the Google Cloud Certification site. This will pay for one attempt at taking the exam.

Some of the types of customers who regularly use vouchers include:

• Companies buy multiple exam credits for their teams.
• Training Providers offer vouchers as part of a course bundle.
• Authorized Resellers purchase vouchers in bulk so they can provide cheaper pricing to customers.
• Google Cloud issues vouchers as part of their promotions or partner programs.

Knowing this ecosystem is the first step in finding where to get a discounted Google Cloud Exam voucher.

How To Purchase Discounted Google Cloud Exam Vouchers

1. Authorized Reseller Vouchers

The most straightforward way to acquire a discounted voucher for a Google Cloud Exam is purchasing from an authorized reseller. Authorized resellers are businesses that work with either Google's distributing or Exam providing companies in order to sell discounted exam vouchers.

For example, Global IT Success focuses on offering discounted exam vouchers at low rates for several types of certification exam, including Google Cloud. Resellers buy large quantities, allowing them to sell these vouchers to individual test-takers at a discount of 20%-40% below the standard retail price. By purchasing from a reseller, you aren't compromising; you are purchasing more intelligently.

When selecting a reseller, make sure they are an authorized reseller. You also want to verify that the voucher is valid for your specific exam, and that the reseller identifies the exam(s), expiration date, and how to redeem the voucher clearly.

2. Google Cloud Partner Programs

Google has a vast number of partners. If you're working for a Google Cloud Partner Organisation or if your company is working towards becoming one you may be eligible to receive exam vouchers (these are used to pay for examinations) through your partner relationship with Google. Google supplies these vouchers to its partners so they can encourage their staff to obtain certifications and in turn aid their partner in either keeping or advancing their partner status.

So, find out from your HR, Learning & Development or IT Leadership if you have access to Google Cloud Examination Credit. Many employees will not know that such a resource exists within the organisation.

3. Training Providers and Bootcamps

Many of the Google Cloud authorized training providers provide a free or discounted exam voucher with any qualified training course. For example, suppose you complete a Coursera course taught by one of the providers who partner with Google Cloud. In that case, you will likely receive either a free or discounted exam voucher through the provider.

Some in-person and virtual boot camps that focus on cloud architecture or DevOps will include an exam voucher as part of their enrollment package. When registering, always ask, "Is there an exam voucher included with this course?"

4. Google Cloud Skills Boost Promotions

When Google Cloud Skills Boost offered (formerly Qwiklabs) promotions from time-to-time, participants could have the opportunity to earn free or discounted exam vouchers for completing a learning path, lab or challenge. These promotions often coincide with a Google Cloud Next or a specific month that is focus on awareness.

The place to Sign up for and follow Google Cloud Skills Boost as well as Google Cloud’s social media accounts is a great way to learn about promotions before they expire.

5. Community and User Groups

Events, workshops, and studies are held by GDGs and GCUGs throughout the year with the possibility of attendees receiving discounted Google Cloud voucher codes as a result of event sponsorship. If you participate in a local or virtual tech community, make sure you look out for these types of opportunities.

Cloud specific events can also be found on Meetup, LinkedIn, and Eventbrite, and continuing to participate can result in receiving voucher codes that will not be published.

Red Flags to Avoid

There are many things that can be good or bad regarding the purchase of a discounted exam voucher. Unfortunately, the demand for discounted exam vouchers has brought about a small number of fraudulent exam voucher sellers. Here are some signs that you need to look out for before purchasing an exam voucher:

• If the seller is selling through an open marketplace such as a Facebook group, eBay or other informal channels, the exam voucher may be expired, already used or fake. Use caution, if an offer appears to be too good to be true then it probably is not a legitimate voucher.
• Legitimate resellers should have an established policy on the returns or if you have issues with your voucher when purchasing the voucher from them. If the seller cannot provide an answer for you about an issue with their policy, then you should not be using that seller.
• Every Google Cloud exam voucher has an expiration date. The legitimate seller will always let you know when that expiration date is. If you are unable to get that information from the seller that would be considered a red flag.
• Reputable resellers, such as Global IT Success, will be registered businesses and will include their contact details, websites and customer support options on their website. Anonymous resellers do not have any accountability, therefore should not be used.

Tips to Maximize Savings on Google Cloud Exam Voucher

Acquiring a discounted google exam voucher is a great start, but here are some other ideas to help keep your overall certification costs lower:

• Consider bundling exams when possible. Some resellers provide multi-exam packs at a greater discount than purchasing them individually. If you desire to obtain more than one Google Cloud certification, bulk purchase may save you even more by purchasing them at a lower rate than purchasing each exam separately.
• Utilize free study resources prior to spending money on preparation courses. Google Cloud Skills Boost provides free labs and learning paths, while Google Cloud's official documentation has vast amounts of information and is also completely free. By using these resources together with community study groups or YouTube tutorials you can prepare without spending money on any paid preparation materials.
• Be strategic about scheduling your exam. While prices may change based on either location or special offers available for examinations, it is important to keep watch for any announcements made by Google regarding waiving examination fees for a limited time or providing discounts.
• Inspect your organization’s training budget, as many companies have L&D (learning and development) budgets that are never exhausted each year by staff. If you present this as a business benefit, it is possible for your employer to either reimburse you for your exam fee or purchase an exam voucher for you.

Why Google Cloud exam voucher Is Worth the Investment

Investing in a Google Cloud credential is worthwhile because they provide an excellent ROI, according to salary surveys conducted by industry analysts.
